How the BumpyBoard® Works

Those with learning challenges need more stimulation to create a permanent memory that can be recalled automatically.

By placing the BumpyBoard®, textured side up, over a letter or word, a child can trace it using two fingers while sounding it out.

As the child excels, the BumpyBoard® can be used to trace over sentences, pre-printed materials and even self-generated materials to bring out their own ideas and style.

Using two BumpyBoards allows the instructor to write a letter or word on the smooth side of one board; then place the other board on top with the textured side up so the child can trace it and sound it out.

Using a multi-sensory method will increase the brain’s neuropathways in developing cognitive skills, which is the ability to retain and recall knowledge as part of the natural thought process.

It’s easy for parents, teachers and tutors to use.

For kids, it makes learning fun!
